Rockwool is a media that is spun from molten rock into long
glass-like fibers. It is extremely sterile and expresses great
drainage properties which is ideal for the propagation of
cuttings. Prior to use, many rockwool products need to be
conditioned with products like
APS Clone Food & Rockwool Conditioner, due to its tendency to raise pH levels.
