PROPAGATION LIGHTING
T5
fluorescent lighting is preferred by many gardeners because of
its high lumen output and low heat. The New Wave T5 lights
are ideal for single or multiple seedling flats and can be
lowered to just above the plants without the risk of burning
them. All T5 fixtures can be fitted with either the 3000K (red)
or 6500K (blue) tubes and can also be mixed for a full spectrum
effect.
Garden
Lights feature a ballast located inside the reflector housing.
They can be ordered in both metal halide and high pressure
sodium. They also come in both 250 and 400 watt models.
The 250w metal halide is ideal for plant starts and seedlings
due to small size and relatively low heat. Lamps are sold
separately.
